They Found Me
Hey. So the comment spammers have found me ... comments of the particularly nasty sort. Can anyone out there tell me how to block these? Thanks.

Stop visitng the sites and leaving your email. That's the easiest way.
Seriously, under your preferences you should have an option to receive an email every time somebody comments on your blog. Next time you get a spam, you will get an email with a link to de-spam it using MT-Blacklist. You should be able to figure it out from there.

I'm working on despamming atlblogs and removing the scourge that apparently got through our filters. In the meantime go here: http://hf.vicksburgblogs.com/archives/chattabloggers_were_being_attacked.html and learn what you can do to assist in blocking these people and how to despam your own blog. Basically Andy's got you pointed in the right direction, but that page will give you more detail.

Hey Dave,
So guess when U2 is coming to Philly, yeah you guessed it May 14th, but since something way bigger is happening that day :) I will be going to a concert in the medowlands on May 17th. I am going to try and call you soon to get more details on the weekend of the 14th so I could start planning.
